I have a passion for connecting aesthetics with function, data with empathy, and strategy with creativity. Discovery

No matter the project, there will always be a kickoff and research phase. The specific method depends on your project needs. This could include engaging stakeholders, collecting insights from user behavior, or analyzing competitors.

Explore & Execute

I am strategic in planning out features and creating flows, which then guide me in informing the creative vision of the project. This can include mood boards, empathy maps, and of course Figma mock-ups. I take care to design and document responsive designs.

Iterate ( Sorry for the buzzword )

Once I have either collaborated with the dev team to build my designs or built them myself, I conduct UX testing to make tweets to the CSS, or go back to ‘playing’ based on user feedback to refine the experience.

Guides small to midsized start-ups in establishing various UX Design processes, setting up foundational design systems, and building UI Design screens using Figma and Adobe XD.

Designed mobile and desktop HR related products for the Air Force by facilitating discovery sessions with stakeholders, creating user flows, wireframes, and low and high-fidelity prototypes in Adobe XD.
Led a Design System Team of 4 devs and designers in optimizing and improving the accessibility of over 200+ UI components and patterns, while providing tutorials and guidance to teams.
Launched an online Style Guide with a react based component library and design best practices documentation to help 9 Agile Scrum cross-functional teams build faster.
Collaborated with developers to provide CSS styling direction and iterated high-fidelity designs and components based on engineering feedback and usability testing.
Designed 2 end-to-end features and over 30 UI elements used by serval teams, resulting in a strong and consistent platform look and function on both mobile and desktop.
